Advanced Digital Marketing Strategies

I feel like I have come so far in my journey to my Digital Marketing Master's. In each class, I exit with more knowledge, insights, and tools to further my final project and career. The Advanced Digital Marketing Strategies class equipped me with the tools and insights needed to excel in marketing. Some of the key takeaways from the course include digital marketing budgets, digital, strategies, conversions, and email marketing. In this class, I was able to identify different types of ad strategies from display ads and ad publishers to newsletters and SEO strategies. One of the core lessons I learned in the course is understanding how to allocate budgets effectively across various channels. We had to analyze different platforms’ ROI to make data-driven decisions about where to invest. Making informed marketing decisions that lead to conversion is also a process, and we learned strategies to improve this through A/B testing, optimizing landing pages, and analyzing user data to identify and eliminate friction points in the conversion process.


Another key takeaway from the Advanced Digital Marketing Strategy class was understanding the importance and use of email marketing. We learned how to craft targeted email campaigns that resonate with our targeted audience, increasing engagement and conversions. One of the most important aspects of the email marketing strategy is by creating a successful subject line that grabs the viewer's attention. Our week four discussion post was all about curating a good subject line for an email, and I received great feedback from my peers regarding the subject line I chose for my case study company. Overall, this course has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to further my final project.
