Mobile
Boarding Pass Coffee’s digital marketing strategy will incorporate mobile marketing in reaching and engaging customers where they are - on their phones. Using a combination of mobile technologies, including SMS, MSS, location-based services, mobile applications, and augmented reality (AR), will enhance customer engagement, drive conversions, and foster brand loyalty.

SMS & MMS Marketing
-
SMS Campaigns: Implemented text messages (SMS) campaigns to engage customers with timely promotions, loyalty rewards, and updates on special events. For example, customers who opt into the text list can receive a 10% discount on their next purchase. Additionally, we can send reminders to customers about their Coffee Passport progress to encourage repeat visits.
-
MMS Campaigns: multimedia messaging services (MMS) will be used to send engaging multimedia content, such as short videos, or special offers to customers’ phones. MMS can be used to highlight new coffee flavors, share behind-the-scenes content from the cafe, or promote influencer-created content to encourage social media sharing.
Conversion Goals
-
Engagement: measure the open rates and responses of SMS and MSS messages. A higher response rate will indicate a strong customer interest.
-
Sales Conversion: tracking the number of sales generated through SMS and MSS coupon codes or promotional links.
-
Opt-In Rates: measuring the number of customers who opt into the SMS program to gauge interest in receiving text messages.

Mobile Application Development
-
Mobile Loyalty Program: developing a mobile app that integrates the existing loyalty program, allowing customers to track their Coffee Passport stamps, receive exclusive offers, and redeem rewards directly from their app. It will also allow for mobile ordering, making it easier for customers to place their orders ahead of time for pickup.
-
Push Notifications: the app will send notifications about new products, personalized discounts, and upcoming events. For example, when a new blend is launched or a seasonal promotional begins, customers will be notified directly through the app, encouraging immediate action.
-
In-App Purchases: customers can use the app to order coffee and merchandise, boosting online sales and providing a more convenient shopping experience.
Conversion Goals:
-
App Downloads: measure the number of app downloads to track the success of the app.
-
Customer Retention: monitor how often customers use the app and its features (through loyalty tracking, ordering, promotions, etc.) to understand retention rates.
-
Sales Conversion: track sales that are made through the app (including mobile orders, merchandise purchases, and loyalty rewards redemptions).

Website Mobile Optimization
-
Responsive Design: ensuring that Boarding Pass Coffee’s website is fully optimized for mobile devices. This means no matter how the customer accesses the site via smartphones or tablets, they will have a seamless experience with easy navigation, fast loading times, and a mobile-friendly checkout process.
-
Click-to-Call and Click-to-Map Feature: adding mobile-friendly features such as a click-to-call button for customer service, or a click-to-map button for store directions will improve user experience and convenience.
Conversion Goals
-
Mobile Traffic: track the mobile traffic and the percentage of visitors coming from mobile devices.
-
Conversion Rates: measure the conversion rate of mobile users who visit the site and make a purchase.
Experimental Technologies
Augmented Reality (AR) and AI campaign: Coffee-Fied Adventures
-
AR integration with mobile devices: as a part of the coffee-field adventures campaign, we will integrate augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) into the marketing strategy. This campaign allows users to scan a QR code with their smartphones to unlock an immersive, interactive experience where they are directed to the mobile app that includes coffee-related content, or even “coffee-fied” avatars that they can share on social media.
-
Branded Filters and Lenses: develop AR filters for Instagram and Snapchat, where users can use their phone’s camera to transform their appearance into a coffee explorer, or traveler, that are in line with the brand’s theme. These filters can be shared across social media to generate organic engagement.
Conversion Goals:
-
Engagement: measure the number of users who interact with the AR experience including the number of shares and the frequency of engagement with branded AR filters.
-
Social Shares: track the number of times users share their coffee-fied experiences on social media platforms with the branded hashtag #BoardingPassCoffeeAdventures.
